Nuts and Bolts of our being

To defend the truths of God in our lives is to live in them; it is to know the mechanics of our being intimately. Do not only admire what the Lord says of you. Every day, we must cultivate a hunger to understand Him, to deepen ourselves in His language, for our lives depend on it. After all, we are the products of His Word.. in need of His sustainance (perhaps mantainace) . His nature dwells in us, and it is what holds our reality together. We must know these nuts and bolts, the essentials of our being and embody them. Scripture, prayer, and obedience are such.. they fasten our convictions in His desires for us. Without these, what we know about ourselves bends and loses its power. Too often, we settle for familiarity and not tremble , admiration without engagement does not speak for anyone, participate to live. The truth spoken by the world differs from the truth revealed by God. His Word shapes lives, challenges hearts, and refuses compromise.
